Russian for Beginners 1
Being the first part of «Russian for Beginners», this 30-hour course introduces you to the Russian sounds, alphabet, reading rules and intonation as well as basic grammar, useful speech patterns and vocabulary on such topics as introduction of yourself and others, family, basic daily routine. The course is delivered in English as a medium of instruction by a professional native speaker. «Russian for Beginners» consists of 4 parts of 30 hours each with the overall number of hours being 120, it complies with the Russian State Standard for Russian as a Foreign Language and develops student's abilities up to the Elementary Level according to the Test of Russian as a Foreign Language.
Full-time students can join all our courses free of charge.
You can join one of the following groups:
Morning
(1) Tuesday and Friday, 10 am to 11.30 am (2 sessions per week, 1.5 hours each)
(2) Wednesday, 9 am to 12 pm (one 3-hour session per week)
Lunch-time
(1) Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm (3 sessions per week, 1 hour each)
(2) Tuesday and Thursday, 12.30 pm to 1.30 pm (2 sessions per week, 1 hour each)
Evening
(1) Monday and Thursday, 5 pm to 7 pm (2 sessions per week, 2 hours each)
(2) Tuesday, 6.30 pm to 9.30 pm (one 3-hour session per week)
(3) Wednesday and Friday, 5.30 pm to 7 pm (2 sessions per week, 1.5 hours each)
How to apply: please fill in the application form and send it to us by post, fax or scan it and send it to us by e-mail. Tuition fee: 4,000 HKD paid in 3 monthly instalments of 1500 HKD, 1500 HKD and 1000 HKD respectively. Full-time students can join this course free of charge.
